The Greatest 2 Commandments

Today the topic of discussion is:

The world hates the disciples
(John 15:18-19)
"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you."

So what can we do? Lets narrow it down shall we? How about just to some simple things that Jesus asked us to do.

The greatest Two Commandments

There are no commandments greater than these

(Matthew 22:37-39)

1. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."
2. "Love your neighbour as yourself."

(Mark 12:30)

1. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength."
2. "Love your neighbour as yourself."

"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you." - John 15:12

"This is my command: Love each other." - John 15:17

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me." - John 14:1

"I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the father."

" You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." - John 14:12-14
