Custom Made

To Sarah With Love

Hi My Love,

You know I thought of something today,
Hopefully what I said was correct to my student.

This is what I told him:
Having good communication with your patients,
Is similar to being good at driving a manual car.
Once you are able to shift gears well,
and synchronising clutch and gear becomes automatic,
you will be able to focus on the road and traffic,
and get a smooth journey to your destination.
Once you are able to communicate well with your patients,
and getting your instructions through clearly and accurately,
you will be able to focus on gaining their trust and confidence,
and get a smooth journey to accomplish their goal with you.

Whether he understood what I was trying to say, I will never know haha.

At the same time, I told him that being confident with speaking doesn't mean you can pull off bullshitting.
From the limited experience I have, I told him that patients will respect you more when you tell them, This is what I believe Might be happening, I apologise I am not familiar with this but I will ask my colleagues and do some research on what might be going on.
And Make sure you bloody DO IT!
People will pick up your bullshitting even though they might not know what you are talking about.

This is a good quote:

The smallest Deed is better than the grandest intention. - Larry Eisenberg

.. Maybe I overloaded my student with too much information.
Anyways, I got a lot to learn. I want to be a great teacher one day.
